IHG appoints two new sales heads in the South Pacific

The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has appointed two new hospitality professionals in key positions.

At the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, IHG has announced the appointment of Sariza Shafique as the resort’s Director of Sales – Luxury & Leisure. The second new appointment is that of Risiva Vuetibau, who takes over the Sales & Marketing manager position at the Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu.

Shafique brings over six years of experience in sales, most recently with Marriott International. She would be responsible for driving sales performance, expanding IHG’s market share in Fiji luxury travel, and cultivating strong relationships with global partners and luxury travel advisors. Shafique has also had held sales roles at the Grand Pacific Hotel and across other industries in Suva, Fiji.

The InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is a five-star resort set on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Natadola. Risiva Vuetibau was previously serving as the Leisure Sales Manager at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa. Now her new mandate will be overlooking the Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu’s sales and marketing for the Vanuatu region, along with boosting relations with travel and trade partners.
