Flying into Fiji’s Nadi International Airport, the Radisson Blu Fiji Resort is less than half an hour away by cab. Set on the picture-perfect Denarau Island (after all, it was made, yes made to house resorts and entertainment!), the route is a trailer of how beautiful the mainland is. The island is connected to the mainland by a causeway over the Pacific Ocean. The resort is surrounded by swaying palm trees and fine golden sand beaches, the perfect setting for epic family holidays and honeymoons.

When it comes to accommodations, the Radisson leaves no stone unturned for choice and comfort. Within its three categories of Guestrooms, One- and Two-Bedroom Suites, the resort has over nine configurations with views of the lagoon pool, gardens and the courtyard. All of its 270 rooms and suites come with traditional Fijian touches and artwork, balconies and ensuite bathrooms. Common amenities include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs with satellite cable, ceiling fans, mini-bar, bathrobes, hairdryers, ironing board and iron, complimentary toiletries and speedy WiFi, of course. The suites feature spacious open-plan living space and a modern kitchen, too.

Moving outside the living arrangements, the resort outdoes its competition in wining and dining. It boasts of over four distinct dining venues and cuisines. The Chantara Thai Restaurant is the resort’s pan-Asian offering, while the Blu Bar & Grill specialises in all-day dining and lip-smacking evening cocktails. Guests having a hankering for pizzas and all things Italian should make their way to Basilico, the Radisson’s Italian restaurant. Neptune’s is the place to go when sun goes down and there is a need to wind down the day’s hectic fun with drinks and fish n’ chips.
