Listen to Serenity Island Resort: Will this be the new Fiji family holiday favourite?

The Serenity Island Resort is set in the Mamanuca islands of Fiji, just half an hour off the mainland. This secluded island resort, with just 20 rooms and villas, promises families and couples a much-needed detox from the hustle-and-bustle of modern life.

What and where is the Serenity Island Resort?

The Serenity Island Resort Fiji is a 3.5-star resort, set on its own island in Fiji’s 333. It’s located a half an hour’s boat ride off the Vuda Harbour; for travellers deboarding at Nadi and going via Denarau, the complete land and sea transfer will be a little under an hour. The resort has its own speedboat, appropriately called The Red Boat and a smaller launch for island-side transfers. The resort doesn’t have a pier, therefore the arrangement. It’s quite fun, actually.

Accommodations at the Serenity Fiji

The resort offers three categories of rooms, or ‘bures’ as they’re called in Fijian. Travellers can choose from Ocean Breeze, Beachfront or Palmview options. The latter two options are good for couples, honeymooners and young travellers as they’re cosy and can accommodate two adults. The three Ocean Breeze Bures are more spacious and are great for families with kids and small groups. Again, since the total number of rooms are just 20, and the resort island is over 48 acres, privacy and seclusion are pretty much guaranteed.

Events at Serenity Island Resort, Fiji

Want to treat your company employees to a getaway of a lifetime? Book out the entire island and go epic at a budget. It’s not uncommon for Australian and North American companies and groups to simply book the entire island for themselves and host epic product launches, team-building exercises and conferences.

Dining at Serenity Fiji

The resort has a full-service restaurant and bar with both indoor and beachside sitting areas. The place exudes a barefoot casual air and low-key suits the Fijian island vibe. The menu is daily changing to take advantage of the seasonal produce and, expectedly, the seafood is fresh and positively a key reason for loving Fiji. The bar is well-equipped and well-tended, and you’ll never be far from a chilled stubby or a flute of bubbly.
