Radisson Fiji adds SGS Pledge Audit on COVID Cleanliness

In an update to its proactiveness on COVID-19 cleanliness and hygiene standards, the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji adds the coveted SGS Pledge Audit to its belt! This certifies that it is now a COVID-19 compliant hotel and fulfils safety and cleanliness measures to the highest degree. 

The resort recently completed the audit on Disinfection Monitored and Cleaning Checked mark by Standard Global Services SGS – the latter is the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. This makes Radisson Blu Fiji the first resort in the country to be a fully COVID-19 compliant hotel. It’s a big achievement on the resort’s behalf, which has taken its task of protecting its staff and guests seriously indeed.

SGS-Certified COVID Safety Precautions at Radisson Blu Resort Fiji 

Under the audit, the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol includes boosted cleaning and disinfecting frequency of all hotel areas, paying special attention to high-touch zones and items. Then, social distancing practices around the resort are strictly enforced. Right at the front entrance and at all public areas, there are ‘stations’ with alcohol-based hand sanitiser and gloves. All room keys disinfected and presented safely to guests on checking in. At all points through the resort, cash-free methods of payments are available and encouraged. 

In rooms and suites, increased airflow is ensured to boost air quality, along with travel-sized dispensers of hand-sanitiser. All accommodations now carry a door hanger displaying cleaning and disinfection information. Mini bars are placed on request, while all laundry is now cleaned with high temperatures for optimal disinfection. At the back end, the staff is trained on comprehensive hygiene and prevention training programmes. As a rule, team members provided with personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves.
