When on a Fiji holiday, there are scores of options for day-tours, island exploration, cultural outings and more. After all, that’s just some of the reasons why international travellers love Fiji. We’re here to show you there’s a fun option that stretches from post-breakfast morning… to post-dinner late evening. The Day Sail and Dinner Combo tour is a happy amalgamation of the ‘Island and Reef Day’ tour and the Sunset Dinner Cruise.

You might have heard about the one, but not the other – but together, they’re an unforgettable experience that just keeps going on! As part of the combo tour, Fiji holiday travellers visit the Kadavu Lailai private beach in the Mamanucas, where they can snorkel acres of coral gardens and dive to soak in the marine diversity of the Treasure Sand Bar. Swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking are other fun activities to partake in. On the island, guests can enjoy a friendly match of beach volleyball, join a guided nature walk, soak in the sun or even sneak in a balmy nap on one of the many sun loungers!

Our favourite, though? Going on a reef tour with the resident marine biologist to take part in the ‘Build a Reef’ coral restoration program. There’s a fun little eco-certificate of participation at the end, too.

For lunch, day-trippers can look forward to a tropical BBQ experience. On the way back, they enjoy complimentary beverages and a delectable sunset dinner aboard Fiji One – the South Pacific’s largest catamaran, as it navigates the waters. Watching birds, fish, and entire islands vanish into the distance is a visual treat, as is the sunset that sets the horizon on fire in hues of red and orange. Plus, there’s cultural entertainment on board, so there’s quiet time as well as excitement while sailing.

Prospective travellers can do a fun tweak to this full-day tour. The combo tour can be split into the day spent sailing and on the beach, and a separate evening dinner cruise. It can be taken separately within seven days. Children up to two years old travel free of charge, and child rates apply to kids 15 and younger. Parents or guardians are responsible for their children’s supervision and safety – as it should be on any holiday abroad.  Additionally, passengers from Coral Coast, Momi, Vuda, Lautoka, and Sonaisali need to arrange their transfers to and from the tour. This is where Hideaway Holidays shines, as our South Pacific Specialists can put together stays all over mainland, add seasonal discounts, clip on this tour and include return transfers – all in one neat Fiji holiday deal. It’s our thing, really. And since we make our own packages from scratch, customising them to our customers’ requirements is what we do.
