Listen to Nukutepipi – The royalty amongst Private Island Resorts?

One of the world’s most exclusive island destinations, the Nukutepipi Private Island checks all the boxes needed for an out-of-the-world luxury island holiday.

What and where is Nukutepipi?

A vision of Guy Laliberte, co-founder of the renowned Cirque Du Soleil, the island raises the bar for exclusivity to stratospheric levels. It reportedly took Laliberte a decade to search for the perfect spot amongst the Islands of Tahiti and another 10 years to bring his vision of the perfect island escape to reality.

Set a little less than 1,000 kilometres from Bora Bora, the island is only accessible by private plane charters. In fact, the closest continental landmass is more than 6,000 kilometres away – either Australia or South America. Once travellers reach Nukutepipi, they’re welcomed by a traditional greeting at the reception.

Accommodations at Nukutepipi

The resort offers 13 one-bedroom bungalows with a choice of a king-size bed or two queen-sized beds. Each unit is set by the beach and features spacious ensuite bathrooms with showers and walk-in closets, air-conditioning, WiFi, mini-bar, Nespresso coffee machines and a full range of complimentary amenities. Going up the ladder, there are two 2-bedroom Junior Villas. In addition to the amenities mentioned above, the villas feature individual dressing rooms, a work desk, a lounge, outsized terrace and a personal infinity pool.

And finally, there is the Master Villa – made to exact specifications of Laliberte. Spread over almost 7,000 sq feet, it features a master bedroom with a super king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with an outdoor bathtub; a second bedroom with two queen-size beds and an attached bathroom and two separate one-bedroom bungalows, one with a king-size bed, the other with two queen-size beds. Other features include personal dressing rooms, an indoor kitchen, two lounges – one indoor and the other outdoor, day-beds and a jacuzzi. There’s also a bar and a personal movie-theatre squeezed in. But the cherry on the cake? A private infinity pool with a view of the lagoon.
