Fiji Airways has unveiled a plethora of upgrades to its onboard experiences, starting with a Pacific Rim-inspired menu on select flights. With the ‘Dine on Demand’ concept, business-class travellers on select long-haul flights will be able enjoy restaurant-quality meals… at their convenience… flying at 35,000 feet.
Fiji Airways CEO and Managing Director Andre Viljoen said, “Fijian hospitality is at the heart of what we do. This next chapter elevates that promise. With the initial introduction of our new Pacific Rim menu and on-demand dining, we’re delivering a fine-dining restaurant-quality experience in the sky – one that is authentically Fijian, thoughtfully-crafted, and aligned with the evolving needs of today’s traveller.”
The newly-introduced Pacific Rim-inspired menu reflects Fiji’s unique position on the cultural crossroads of Southeast Asia, Oceania and North America. It blends these regional flavours with sustainably-sourced local Fijian ingredients, resulting in signature dishes like:

Additionally, the Business Class tables are decorated with Vau flowers, handcrafted in Fiji, and set with bone china tableware on white cotton tablecloths for that touch of indulgence.
The elevated flight experience extends to the Economy Class with updated meals, new mocktail and cocktails, new snacks, fresh beverages, and hot chocolate. The airline is also well-positioned to meet special dietary requirements, provided the same is communicated beforehand.
These enhancements to the in-flight experience are designed to delight flyers while giving them a taste of Fijian hospitality in the sky. The experience is one of the many improvements planned to put Fiji Airways at par with industry stalwarts.

The Pacific Rim-inspired menu and the new service model are being steadily extended to select long-haul flights and are projected to be completely implemented across the network by July 2026.
