The Matamanoa Island Resort, Fiji has announced exciting updates to its infrastructure. The resort has engaged a designer to bring to life a three-pronged makeover. The whole resort will have a major uplift, and all Beachfront Pool Bures and Oceanfront Pool Villas will be refurbed with soft furnishings.

Most importantly – the existing Resort Rooms will be refurbished and unveiled as ‘Island Rooms’. As of now, the early concepts of the rooms look smashing! To bring this vision to life, the resort will shut down from January 12 to March 23, 2026, reopening on March 24.
