Blue Lagoon Cruises has announced the upcoming launch of a second vessel, the MV Yasawa Princess II. Scheduled to join the fleet in April 2026, the new ship will cruise alongside the MV Fiji Princess throughout 2026 and into 2027, adding more capacity to meet Fiji’s growing cruising demand. The MV Yasawa Princess II will eventually take the helm as the brand’s flagship vessel.

Meet the MV Yasawa Princess II

Designed for comfort and style, the MV Yasawa Princess II is a 45-metre catamaran that will feature a full suite of modern amenities. The vessel will offer 22 well-appointed cabins for a maximum of 44 guests, available in twin or double configurations. Like its sister ship, the new vessel’s shallow draft will allow it to access areas unreachable by larger ships, giving guests the iconic experience of tying up to a coconut tree on a private beach and swimming directly to shore. The ship is currently undergoing an extensive refit, with key features including a mid and main deck dedicated to cabins, an upper deck with a dining area, lounge, and bar, and a sun deck perfect for enjoying spectacular sunsets. For effortless access to the water, the ship will also feature a hydraulic rise-and-fall stern platform.

Expanding the Fleet and Itineraries

With the addition of the MV Yasawa Princess II, Blue Lagoon Cruises is expanding its offerings. For most departures across 2026 and into 2027, the 4-night itineraries will be hosted on the new vessel, while the 3- and 7-night cruises will continue to be operated on the MV Fiji Princess. Vessel allocations, however, will remain subject to change depending on forward bookings and operational requirements. All cruises will continue to depart from and return to Port Denarau

A Limited-Time Offer to Celebrate

With the MV Yasawa Princess II scheduled to begin cruising in April 2026, bookings are now open with additional cabin availability bookable for all 3-night, 4-night and 7-night departures. This would be a very good time to whip out your Calendar app, and call the SO about the amazing Fiji cruise you just learnt about.
