Set amidst silky beaches, palm trees and landscaped gardens, the Warwick Fiji is an eclectic meld of relaxation and fun. Spread over 28 acres, this luxury resort has earned an enviable reputation of being a haven for families, couples and experiential travellers.

The Coral Coast is one of the most-recognised geographic locations in Fiji. Plentiful coral reefs for snorkelling and diving dot the stretch, along with numerous resorts set along the miles of white sand beaches. The Warwick is set two hours’ cab ride away from the international airport. Travelling to the resort is a great trailer of the holiday to come – the road winds amongst the hills on one side and the periwinkle blue of Pacific Ocean on the other. But all too soon, you’re at the resort.

Warwick Fiji – Activities & Experiences

A crystal-clear expanse, pristine beach and your imagination

Set on the mainland of Viti Levu, there is so much to see, do and experience for the international traveller. That’s not saying the resort falls flat on activities and experiences. Far from it. The resort’s spectacular beach and the ocean lend to great kayaking and canoeing for couples and families. All you need to do is ask – they’re complimentary. All non-motorised water-sports equipment, from snorkelling gear to kayaks, hobie cats and stand-up paddle boarding is free for guests to use.

Parents, do take your children for fish-feeding at the resort’s specially-designated areas. It’s a blast of fun and we’re not talking just about the kids. Then, you can sign up for glass bottom boat tours and scuba-diving charters. After all, it’s Fiji – where else would you go underwater and see a wonderland?

Then, the resort has flood-lit tennis courts, two squash courts, an archery range amongst other amenities. You can also explore the vast grounds on regular bicycle tours. There’s also table tennis and a billiard/ pool table in the game room, along with other board games, if you feel so inclined. Our recommendation? Take up village tours – it’s an interesting insight into the life and the culture of Fiji, which has stayed intact for thousands of years.

Fiji has great spots to explore for those who wish to explore the modern side of the island nation. You’re on the most happening city in the South Pacific, so there is a plethora of multi-cuisine restaurants, bars, pubs and markets. Just take a map, plenty of sun-screen, waters and a good pair of walking shoes. You’re all set. Also, for those who want to brush up on the local language, learn a little Fijian!
