Beyond the wharf and the large swimming pool, the hotel offers a range of accommodation options for international travellers. The Grand Hotel and Casino does not disappoint when it comes to wining and dining. It’s main restaurant Crystals offers all day dining with changing dinner and lunch menus, plus it’s harbour views are among the best in the South Pacific. The, the Cabana Pool Bar is set next to the pool (as the name very rightly says) and doles out expertly made snacks, light lunches and tropical cocktails. There is also the Lobby Lounge Bar, which churns out light refreshments and snacks in the hotel’s spacious reception and lobby area. And then there is the Hemisphere VIP Room – primed as the ‘highest bar in Vanuatu’, the place is decked out decadently and offers great cocktails and drinks with fantastic views of the harbour while guests take a break from the casino’s slot machines and game rooms.
In terms of activities, there’s plenty to see, do, eat and experience here to keep travellers busy for weeks! The hotel is set just a few minutes away from the famous Mele Cascades, while scuba-diving and wreck diving operators are plentiful.
