This popular resort is amongst the very few places on earth where travellers swim with massive humpback whales during migration season, which starts in July and ends in October. The island is fortuitously located between two deepwater channels, perfect for the gentle giants when they come to this region for their annual mating. In addition to whale watching, Treasure Island Resort is known for its beautiful beaches, bungalows, fine dining and activities.
