A luxurious resort set on a pristine white sand beach in Huahine Nui, the Hotel Royal Huahine has just 40 top-of-the-line bungalows to ensure absolute peace and serenity for its guests. Each of the bungalows come with air-conditioning, king-size beds, attached bathrooms with showers stalls, large sun-decks to enjoy the sweet vanilla-laced breezes and amazing views of the island’s land/ seascapes. Also, the island’s beautiful environs make sure that the romance factor is dialled to 11 all the time.
The bungalows have been recently refurbished and are spread over the resort’s lush gardens, the beachfront and on the lagoon. Each of the bungalows meld modern amenities like air-conditioning and ensuite bathrooms with traditional Polynesian elements like high-vaulted thatched roofs, wood carvings and flooring.
Just because there’s a surplus of privacy doesn’t mean that there is a shortage of activities. Huahine boasts some of the clearest waters in French Polynesia and swimming and snorkelling is simply out of the world here. Guests can take advantage of the complimentary snorkelling gear and explore the resort’s marine life just off the beach. Also, complimentary kayaks mean that couples can go exploring the island, Robinson Crusoe-style! There is also a scheduled boat service to the main town of Fare and back, which has numerous shops for souvenirs and kitsch.
