The hotel’s Red Rooster Café and Restaurant offers its guests a casual American dining experience. From fried chicken, pizzas, burgers and its own brewed beer, the Red Rooster is a popular hang-out spot for tourists as well as locals. Of course, it also has an excellent Pacific Rim menu, too!
The West Plaza Hotel by the Sea can also arrange for Toyota rental cars, sedans and SUVs for travellers who want to explore Palau’s forests, beaches and villages on their own. The hotel’s tour desk (and our South Pacific Specialists, too!) can arrange scuba-diving charters, island tours, guided hikes, museum tours, jungle river tours and guided tours of the island’s ruins. Our recommendation? History buffs would love the Etpison Museum, it’s barely a brisk seven-minute walk down from the hotel. Also, the island’s Belau National Museum is close by, too.
