The Standard Bungalows at the Palau Caroline’s Resort are the entry-level accommodations, and they’re excellent value for budget-travellers, friends travelling together and groups. Set on the hills, the bungalows are surrounded by tropical flowering shrubbery and overlook the scenic Rock Island. Raised on stilts, the bungalows are made from locally-sourced hardwood, giving the air of a rustic log cabin. Inside, the 28sqm bungalows come with a choice of a king-size bed or two twin beds, an open-plan living space with comfortable sitting furniture and floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the sea. The ensuite bathroom comes with vanity mirrors, shower, and complimentary toiletries and plush towels. Outside, the bungalows come with a covered patio with sitting furniture. Common amenities include air-conditioning, flatscreen Smart TV, WiFi internet access, a Keurig coffee machine, an electric tea kettle and reusable filtered water bottles.
