Dining at King Solomon Hotel
The King Solomon Hotel’s Kai Kai Haus Restaurant offers the island’s finest pizza along with a mix of Thai, Italian and Pacific cuisines. Travellers can also relax with a great buffet breakfast at the Bamboo Bar and Cafe. The hotel also offers travellers three options to choose from for their evening tipple – Hibiscus Bar, Mojito Bar and Pipe Line Bar.
There are scores of activities and experiences to be savoured in and around the hotel, affectionately called as the ‘King Sol’. For starters, Honiara is a burgeoning, cosmopolitan South Pacific capital. Take guided tours of the city, soaking in the multi-hued influences of Micronesian, Asian, Melanesian, European and Polynesian cultures. Be adventurous, go on food tramps. For culture aficionados, we would recommend getting out of the city to visit the Japanese and American WWII war memorials.
