The Namale Resort is set on the island of Vanua Levu, the ‘other big island’ of Fiji, apart from Viti Levu. Travellers land at the latter, which is where the Nadi International Airport is located. From there, Savusavu is but a short flight away. After disembarkation, the resort is but a 10-15 minute drive from the airport.
Here, is where the magic starts. No two rooms, suites or villas are identical at the Namale Fiji. Travellers can choose from Tropical Bures set facing the lush gardens or the ocean, the ultra-secluded Honeymoon Bures, or any of the villas dotting the resort. Or, if you want to turn it all the way to 11, go for Namale’s Grand Villa, or what they call the Vale Tatadra. Each of the accommodations at the Namale Resort & Spa offers a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower, complimentary linens and towels, air-conditioning, island-casual sitting furniture, a deck or a balcony, complimentary WiFi and a fresh batch of cookies – the last one’s very important and you should totally demand it as a basic traveller’s right. Check out the resort’s room types, descriptions and pictures below!
The resort offers guests two distinct dining venues. The resort’s kitchen prides itself on being carbon-conscious and farm-to-table. The resort grows much of what it needs in organic vegetable and herb gardens, and getting seafood, meat and fruits from local vendors and fishermen. Also, the menu is curated and daily-changing, ensuring every meal is a fresh surprise. The main restaurant is called the Main Bure – very appropriately so – and offers international, Pacific Rim and Indo-Fijian cuisines. The ocean-facing venue offers a large airconditioned indoor seating arrangement, along with alfresco dining on one of its many split-level decks for intimate meals. In between major meals and for quick snacks on the go is the open-air Walu Restaurant.
And if you think in-villa dining is great for romance, think again. The Namale Resort happily organises candlelit dinners next to a waterfall or a beach. Want something more offbeat? What about a dinner in a candlelit sea cave on the beach sound? Hot Take: Namale Resort all inclusive holidays are slightly different that most such plans. When you go for an Namale Resort Fiji all inclusive holiday, you are good for everything! Talk to our South Pacific Specialists for more details.
The resort has a library’s worth of activities and experiences for couples, families and adventurers. There is amazing snorkelling and scuba-diving just off the beach, where you can explore the island’s beautiful soft coral reefs and bustling marine life. You can also take kayaks to explore the island and the nearby motus. Speaking of which, ask the activities team to set up a picnic on a remote sandbar – just for you! Then, you can sign up for waterfall and rainforest tours, guided kayaking tours, refs walks where you can explore the island’s tidepools. The resort also has an indoor basketball court, freshwater and saltwater pools, its own 9-hole golf course, two separate decks with jacuzzis overlooking ocean blowholes, as well as indoor bowling lanes. And we’ve not even covered half of what travellers can get up to while on a Namale Resort, Fiji holiday!
