Located centrally and clustered around the resort’s lush gardens are the resort’s Island Bures. The setting reminds one of the traditional Fijian villages. As such, both the interior and the exterior of the bures are borrowed from traditional Fijian architectural themes. Each bure can accommodate up to 2 adults and offer either a king bed with a sofa bed or a king bed with two single beds (can also be reconfigured to a king bed plus a single bed and a sofa bed). The ensuite bathroom comes with a separate shower and provides amenities such as towels and complimentary toiletries. At 323 sqft, these bures are a great fit for families and small groups.

According to a legend which goes back 3,000 years, there lies a magical chest of blessings on Mana Island. Centuries ago, a ship carrying that chest was beset by storms near the island. The magical chest went overboard and Manamanaedina, the snake god of Mana commanded it to stay there. The legend could be one of the reasons why Mana is amongst the prettiest of islands in the Mamanucas.
After landing in Fiji, travellers can reach the Mana Island Resort and Spa via scheduled boat transfers, sea taxis or by plane. Shaped like a boomerang, the forest-covered island boasts of miles of white sand beaches, coral reefs and marine life. The 300-acre resort features over 150 rooms and suites, allowing each accommodation to have views of the gardens, hills, the beach and the ocean.
All rooms have been designed with little touches of traditional Fijian culture and architecture like high-vaulted ceilings, wood flooring and cabinets. The spacious timber decks/ patios outside the rooms are perfect for admiring sunrises and sunsets. Inside, all rooms feature air-conditioning, comfy beds and ensuite bathrooms. Finally, there is speedy WiFi in lodgings and the common areas so clicking and uploading selfies isn’t a problem!
Dining at Mana Fiji
The resort leaves no stone unturned for guests looking for fabulous dining and drinks. With internationally-renowned chef Richard Cross involved with the menus, the meals are justifiably satisfying! The semi-formal South Beach Restaurant features fusion fare inspired by Italian, French, Pacific and Japanese cuisines. On the other hand, the Mamanuca Restaurant offers American Breakfast Buffets, BBQ lunches and Themed dinner buffets. The resort offers one of the largest wine collections in Fiji inside the Latitude Wine Cellar. Here, guests can sample fine fines from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Italy, Spain and France – a connoisseur’s true delight with canapes and cheese. Then, there is the Kura Spa outlet, the Hibiscus Café, the Mamanuca Bistro, the Nasu Teppanyaki and the Volovoli café located around the family pool. All in all, there is enough choice and diversity in cuisines to keep a family merrily tasting new fare for weeks!
To burn off the calories from fine dining, there are plenty of activities to adults and children engaged in happy frolic. Travellers can opt for guided tours of the island, learning about Mana’s incredible variety of flora and fauna. There are daily activities, cultural shows and events like Meke dances and lovo feast nights on the island. Note: The Lookout Point provides stunning views of the island and ocean for hikers. It’s a must-experience moment for one and all. Then, enjoying a holiday at the Mana Fiji would be incomplete without the snorkelling, kayaking, windsurfing, diving and swimming in the clear Pacific waters. The reefs are a veritable treasure, with hundreds of species of fishes and turtles flitting around the happy swimmer.
The Mana Island Resort is, without doubt, one of the most beautiful places in Fiji to experience an age-old culture, natural bounty and warm hospitality. Our all-inclusive holiday deals feature one flat rate for airfare, stays, meals, drinks, transfers and even bonus seasonal activities.
