About Sofitel Bora Bora Private Island (Ceased)

Even though the private retreat is isolated on the island of Motu Piti U’uta, the hotel is just a few minutes away from the airport. The villas and the bungalows have some of the best sights in the world, surrounded by a picture-perfect electric blue lagoon with the majestic Mount Otemanu in the background and the beautiful islands of Raiatea and Taha’a in the far distance.

The Sofitel Bora Bora Private Island Hotel offers travellers a choice of 31 luxurious bungalows and villas, set either amidst the resort’s landscaped gardens or on the lagoon. All units come with king-size beds, ensuite bathrooms with rainshower stalls, large terraces with beach loungers and furniture, mini-fridge and bar, along with complimentary WiFi.

Staying on a private island resort means that guests have automatic access to a private white sand beach, and Motu Piti U’uta’s beach is stunning day or night. There is excellent swimming and snorkelling right off the beach, while guests can take kayaks from the tour desk to go explore the island by themselves.
