Stone Villas

Each of the two free-standing villas feature a bedroom, ensuite bathroom, kitchen, living room and a private patio. The fully equipped kitchen comes with its own stove, fridge and microwave. The facilities also include a washer and dryer. The lounge or living space features WiFi, a landline, TV with satellite cable and a CD radio player – just for lazy evenings when you want to unwind with chilled wine and music. Oh, and the rent also covers a private car. The villa can comfortably accommodate three people in a pinch, and there is a provision for a divan bed on request.

The Stone Villas are just a hop and skip away from the sea. Niue doesn’t have a lot of acreage in terms of beaches as it is but one island. But there are plenty of sandy coves and little pocket-sized beaches which one can spend days on end. It’s waters are stunning, even by South Pacific standards. Swimming, snorkelling, scuba-diving and kayaking will easily while away days in a snap. Our recommendation? Check out the Limu Pools – it’s just a 10-minute drive away from the villas. The waters in the limestone pools resemble sheets of polished glass (which is pretty much the norm in Niue!). Then, travellers can check out the famous Matapa Chasms, go caving in Aviki and load up on the fresh produce from the local market.
