About Turtle Bay Lodge
It offers four choices of accommodations: for couples, families, backpackers and those on a budget, there are Poolside Budget Family Rooms and Oceanview Budget Double Rooms. The former features a queen-size bed and bunk-beds, while the latter contains one queen-sized bed. Both room options are air-cooled and offer ensuite bathrooms, ceiling fans, coffee/tea-making facilities, and bar fridges. The Oceanfront Double Rooms and Seaview Family Rooms offer more space and are set next to the beach.
The Turtle Bay Lodge offers a plethora of activities and experiences for travellers. There is fantastic snorkelling and swimming right off the lodge’s beach. Guests can rent kayaks to explore the coastline, but we’ll recommend checking out Vanuatu’s famous ‘blue holes’ – they’re not that far off. Paddle your way up to Matevulu Blue Hole, which is closer; and spend the day splashing about in a natural swimming pool to your heart’s content. The Riri blue hole is a little further out, but it’s got decks on which adventurers can rest and have a quiet picnic. The reefs off the beach are filled healthy soft coral and abundant marine life. Guests can borrow a pair of flippers and a snorkel and spend many a happy hour exploring the underwater wonderland. Of course, the lodge’s swimming pool is always a great option to lounge and work on the tan, too. The lodge’s restaurant and bar overlooks the beach and offers an a la carte menu as well as daily specials for its guests. Turtle Bay prides on its locally-grown, organic produce, the freshly-caught seafood as well as the world-famous Santo beef.
