The beauty of the resort is enhanced by the fact that wherever the traveller may be standing, the sights are simply great. The towering mountain range of Upolu, olive-toned forests, city sights of Apia and the vast Pacific Ocean vie for your attention.
In accommodations, the Taumeasina Island Resort provides visitors with a host of choices in its 80 rooms and suites. From Oceanview Hotel Rooms for couples to massive three-bedroom villas for groups and large families, the resort has got something for everybody! There is such a plethora of activities in and around the resort, spending time is never a problem. First off, the water-sports pavilion will take care of all snorkelling and kayaking needs with complimentary equipment. For sailing adventures, there are catamarans to charter. The latter requires a bit of a trek, but the sight of the pool is surreal, magical and worth every calorie expended. Further inland are Samoa’s waterfalls, the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum, local village tours, surfing hotspots for enthusiasts and the Palolo Deep Marine Reserve for divers.
