Each suite-style room features a super king-size four-poster bed and a single king bed, with an open-plan living space. From Rarotonga’s Avarua airport, the Nautilus Resort is under a half-an-hour cab ride away. Travelling along the island’s ring road, one gets the idea how magnificent a Cook Islands holiday is going to be. The resort offers five categories of villa accommodations, called ‘ares’. Ranging from Garden Ares for couples or small families all the way to 2- and 3-Bedroom Beachfront Ares.
Each of the units feature a choice of California king-size double or single beds, open-plan suites with oversized living spaces, airconditioning, outdoor stone showers, saltwater plunge pools, satellite TV and a private deck. All suits also feature a handy kitchenette and the multiple-bedroom Ares have a full-fledged kitchen. The ensuite bathrooms are spacious and have dual basins, freestanding stone baths, separate showers, premium toiletries and pamper guests with kimono-style bathrobes. Plus, there’s unlimited WiFi!
