Flying in from Papeete’s Fa’a International Airport, Rangiroa is but an hour’s hop away. The waters surrounding the resort are so clear that it has been termed as ‘Rangiroa Blue’ by locals and visitors alike. The Kia Ora Resort offers 60 Polynesian-style bungalows along the beach in three variations. In addition to this, the resort also offers the Le Sauvage Private island experience – a private island located an hour away by boat from the resort with five spacious bungalows on it. This experience is recommended for couples looking for privacy and a tech detox – the island has no network or electricity!
