The newly completed Beachfront Bures are within a few steps of the pristine white sandy beach that fronts Lomani. The luxurious bures are 65 square metres in size and feature custom made mahogany wood furnishings, private courtyard-style outdoor showers, and large sundecks that overlook Malolo Lailai bay. The double glass sliding doors that lead out onto the private decks perfectly frame the breathtaking views of the beach and ocean.

An adults-only resort, the Lomani Island Resort is set in Fiji’s dazzlingly beautiful Mamanuca chain of islands.

As a part of Raffe Hotels & Resorts, the Lomani Island Resort has implemented a range of health and safety measures which it is calling the Savasava Hygiene Promise. Working with Ecolab, this programme includes 5 groups of action-points:

Hygiene and handwashing: The resort’s Savasava Champions will disinfect all high-touch items like doorknobs, tables, chairs, and handrails consistently and frequently; hand sanitation stations are distributed throughout the resorts, particularly in dining and other high-traffic areas.
Physical Distancing: The resort now actively encourages social and physical distancing. Then, it has deliberately reduced overall capacity in public spaces by increasing distance between furniture settings and changing procedures for managing queues. Restaurants have new dining options to eliminate self-service buffet.
Employee Wellness: Every employee will have a temperature and wellness check prior to starting work. The resort will be providing PPE to employees based on WHO’s and Fiji Ministry of Health’s guidelines.
Cleaning & Disinfection: The resort will use Ecolab-approved cleaning products which reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses. Whenever possible, rooms & bures will be left vacant for a minimum of 24 hours between guests, after completing enhanced cleaning and disinfecting.
Training & Operations: All staff has completed training on our upgraded hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures. There will be designated Savasava Champions will lead the resort’s efforts to meet the Savasava Hygiene Promise. And finally, all properties will have documented procedures on how to handle any guest illnesses that may arise, including isolation and/or safe evacuation for any significant incidents.

Under Raffe’s Savasava Hygiene Promise, Lomani Island Resort assures all guests that their cleaning techniques have evolved to match the ‘new normal’ societal expectations. Secondly, it has implemented clear and simple procedures throughout all Raffe properties to keep travellers safe; and that all its staff are been trained to ensure high standards of sanitation and overall guest safety.

Travellers can choose between a calm catamaran ride by Malolo Cat winding its way through the islands, a high-speed water taxi or a quick helicopter ride from Nadi airport to the Lomani Island Resort.

The Lomani Island Resort has a check-in time from 02:00pm onwards and check-out till 10:00am.

Early/late check-in/ check-out times are considered upon request and are subject to Lomani Island Resort’s decision.
