Erakor
Island Resort is one of the few island resorts in the world that is totally unspoilt.
Rooms DO NOT have telephones or television. Erakor is situated on its own private 16 acre
island, and from the moment you step off the ferry onto the beautiful sandy beach, you
will understand why previous guests try and keep Erakor Island their own little secret.
Erakor is just across the lagoon from the Le Lagon Vanuatu
Resort and is only a 5 minute free ferry
ride to the mainland, and a further 5 minutes by taxi or bus to the centre of Port Vila.
On Erakor Island you can do as much or as little as you like. For the more active there is
a range of sports and activities available for you to enjoy.
Accommodation
All accommodation is in
private beachfront bungalows, and they are more than comfortable. Each bungalow
has its own private en-suite, lounges, refrigerator, tea & coffee making
facilities, etc. There are three different styles of waterfront bungalows:
 | Double storey waterfront family "loft" bungalow (sleeps up to 5 people - not suitable for children under 5 years) |
| Deluxe waterfront Bungalows with spa (sleeps 2-3 people) |
| Superior Waterfront Bungalows, with a King Bed and Day Bed (sleeps 2-3 persons). |

Restaurant
Erakor has a terrific waterfront restaurant and bar, which
is open from 7am until 10 pm where you will often be entertained by one of our local
musicians.
Wedding
Packages at Erakor Island
Why not get married in Vanuatu? Erakor is the place to do it. You won't find a more
romantic place than Erakor's own open air chapel. It is the sort of thing you may have
dreamt about - a beautiful romantic South Seas location, with a native children's choir
and with none of the hassles that normally come with a wedding. Or you can get married on
the beach if you prefer. Erakor Island Resort is very laid back and casual, but it offers
everything you will need to have a great holiday, at very reasonable prices.

| Legal Requirements:- Copies of passport, Birth Certificate, Change of Name Documents including Decree Absolute, Deed Poll etc if applicable, plus the Vanuatu Government "Notice of Intention" form must be received by the resort at least 28 days prior to the proposed wedding date (fax copies acceptable). |
Above wedding costs are for couples staying at Erakor Island Resort for a minimum of 7 nights. Couples not staying at Erakor Island, or staying for less than 7 nights an additional charge applies. Wedding reception requirements and costs are treated on an individual basis and all payments direct to resort. Wedding bookings are not accepted during religious holidays (eg. Easter/Christmas), or Vanuatu National Holidays. Saturdays are sometimes available on request. Couples must arrive in Vanuatu at least 3 working days prior to the ceremony. No responsibility is taken for unforeseen circumstances which may delay or postpone the wedding ceremony Minimum age is 18 years.

During Christmas and New Year some hotels impose a minimum stay requirement and these details will vary from hotel to hotel. In addition some resorts offer special Christmas and New Year functions which may be compulsory and an extra cost will apply. Where the Christmas or New Year function is not compulsory it is still advisable to book in advance as there may be little, if any, alternatives available. |
