Aore Island Resort,
Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu

Weddings at Aore

Aore Resort is located on 10 acres and is an absolute beachfront resort that backs onto a cattle/coconut Plantation. The accommodation consists of 10 Double/Twin Bungalows and 8 Family bungalows. The bungalows have private bathrooms, ceiling fans, refrigerators, tea and coffee-making facilities and large balconies.

Resort activities include swimming, diving, snorkelling, kayaking, mountain bikes, pool/beach volleyball, fishing, island discovery by walking, biking or by bus.

Day tours of Santo which take in the world famous Champagne Beach, Million Dollar Point and World War 2 relics can be easily organised. Snorkel the Blue Holes and a very beautiful "secret spot" which can be found on the resort's Tour Operator's own Family land. Tours can be organised to explore the bird life, native flowers/plants, turtle breeding, custom pigmy villages, river kayaking and the Matantas/Vatthe Conservation area at Big Bay on the island of Santo where horseriding is also available.

There are bat caves to be explored on Aore Island too. Aore is a haven for divers, being right on the doorstep of World Class wreck and reef diving. Some of the wreck dives are the SS President Coolidge, SS Tucker, and the MV Henry Bonneaud.

The fishing grounds at Aore are unique in that you begin to fish within minutes of leaving the tranquil waters of Aore's jetty. Game, reef and sport fishermen will be amazed by the natural beauty of this tropical paradise and the abundance of the fish that are targeted by anglers world wide. Whether at anchor or trolling along the pristine coastline there is something to suit everyone. Anglers from novice to the most experienced will enjoy outstanding year-round fishing in the ward blue waters of Espiritu Santo and its neighbouring islands.

Don't forget the weddings and the honeymooners. Baptisms have even been performed at Aore.

World class food is served in the waterfront Restaurant/Bar and where the traditional cocktail at sunset is a must. All diets are catered for no matter what your choice, and very generous meal packages are also available on request. Visiting yachties are always welcomed at Aore Resort and are invited to use the resort facilities and as well be assured of a protected mooring directly in front of the resort.
