Documentation Required:
v To get married in the Cook Islands you need to apply for the licence 3 working days before the ceremony, not including the day of application. This requirement can sometimes be waived by the Registrar but only with good reason and with a written request in advance. Cost of this waiver is AU$55.00.
v Birth certificates - or certified copies of them.
v Passports
v Divorce papers if previously married, or death certificate of previous spouse and these must be translated into English.
