Friendly Bungalows
Friendly Bungalows are built the traditional way using
only local materials and each bungalow is decorated in the natural reds and
ochre dyes of Tanna and feature traditional weaving. All have a thatched grass
roof, they are genuinely rustic but clean and comfortable and all have coral
floor bathrooms with hot water showers.
Your one and two bedroom bungalow accommodation has its own large terrace
with a hammock and lounge seat to gaze out at the magnificent rolling horizon of
the Pacific Ocean. Inside there are comfortable double and single beds all
equipped with mosquito nets.
Friendly Bungalows are located 6km from Yasur
Volcano, right on the quiet secluded sand beach of Lowelkas Cove
and on the other side of the island from the airport. The resort
offers tours to Yasur Volcano, Port Resolution, the John Frum Cult
village, waterfalls in dense jungle and hot mineral springs. The
friendly faces of custom life and custom villages are all close by.
